| SCV |
Command Centre |
The construction
worker of the Confederacy. This unit is responsible for the gathering of resources. |
| Marine |
Command Centre,
Barracks |
The footsoldier
of the Confederate Army. Cheap, dispensible, versitile, upgradeable, and carrying an
automatic rifle, the marine is the backbone of the Confederate ground forces. |
| Firebat |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Academy |
The short range
brother to the marine. Equipped with high pressure flame thrower, the firebat makes a
invaluable asset to the Confederate ground forces when pitted against the Protoss. Several
dropships carrying platoons of firebats and marines make for a formidable attack wave. |
| Ghost |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Academy, Factory, Starport, Science Facility w/ Covert Ops. |
Perhaps the most
versitile of all ground troops. The Ghost, when properly upgraded has at his disposal a
high powered single shot / multiple use sniper rifle, advanced cyber-optic eye
replacements, a personal cloaking device and has the ability to direct the path of Terran
nuclear weapons via a laser omni-directional digital pinpointer. Platoons of cloaked
ghosts make for an amazingly effective invisible attack. |
| Vulture |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory |
Although not very
useful by themselves, groups of them, especially when equipped with spider mines make for
excellent front line defense. |
| Siege Tank |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory w/ Machine Shop |
The Confederate
ground forces big-boy. In its mobile state, the Siege Tank employs a powerful dual-cannon
system. While immobile, and braced, the Siege Tank raises a very high powered pulse
cannon, doing about twice the damage of its mobile counterpart. A frontline of tanks in
siege mode make for a nearly impenetrable line. |
| Goliath |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory, Armory |
The Confederacy's
answer to the need for mobile land and air defense. The Goliath uses a machine gun for
ground targets, and is equipped with a volley of SAMs (surface to air missiles) to deal
with airstrikes. Being heavily armored, the Goliath in groups is a very effective
offensive and defensive unit. |
| Wraith |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory, Starport |
The invisible
eagle. This unit uses lasers to attack ground targets and launches dual missiles at air
targets. With a cloaking device, waves of this unit make short work of heavy air offense. |
| Dropship |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory, Starport w/ Control Tower |
The defenseless
air transit system. This unit is used soley to transport ground units. Heavily defended,
many dropships can be used to transport many marines and tanks to hotspots, take SCVs to
colonize remote areas, or drop ghosts to make critical nuclear launches. |
| Science Vessel |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory, Starport w/ Control Tower, Science Facility |
Although unarmed,
the Science Vessel proves its worth by its ability to detect cloaked units, and disable
energy shields on other units. With two of these babies following an air strike composed
of wraiths and battleships, your airstrike can see, and hit, everything. |
| Battlecruiser |
Command Centre,
Barracks, Factory, Starport w/ Control Tower, Science Facility w/ Physics Lab |
The most
powerful, expensive, and slow air unit. With its deadly ground and air lasers, it is a
formidable attack unit. Employing its Yamato cannon, it can direct a focused nuclear
explosion toward a target doing considerable damage, putting the fear of God in your
oppenent. |
